Important AP Exam Information for Students and Parents

From May 5 through May 16, the High School will be administering Advanced Placement (AP) exams. Room assignments for exams taking place in week 1 (May 5-May 9) will be posted in the high school concourse beginning Wednesday, April 30. Room assignments for exams taking place in week 2 (May 12 - 16) will be posted in the high school concourse beginning Wednesday, May 7.

All exams will have a digital component, and therefore, students must bring their Surface fully charged and updated.  Please ensure the Bluebook testing app is working and students can log in utilizing their College Board login credentials.

Students with morning exams will report directly to their testing location no later than 8 a.m. on the day of their exam. Please note, no late arrivals will be permitted to enter the testing room. Once morning exams are complete, students are to report to their regularly scheduled classes. Students may also opt to sign-out of school in the High School Office with parental approval and depart campus at the conclusion of their exam.

Students with afternoon exams must report to their testing location no later than 11:45 a.m. Students with afternoon exams may choose to attend their regularly scheduled morning classes the day of the exam but are not required to do so. Students selecting to study off campus the morning of their exam must report to their testing room on time. If students are on campus, they are expected to be in their regularly scheduled class.

Students with an afternoon exam who are on campus may report to the SAC at 11:15 a.m. for lunch.

Students with a morning AND an afternoon exam scheduled on the same day will be afforded an opportunity to eat lunch between exams. However, these students are highly encouraged to bring a snack.
AP students should be prepared for their exams by bringing pens, pencils, and approved calculators (if required). We encourage each student to get a good night's rest and have a healthy breakfast. We ask that you do not schedule any appointments outside of school on testing dates so all students are present.

Dress attire for students testing is either a regular school uniform or Friday’s school spirit day.  Some classrooms may be cold so bring a sweater if needed, no blankets allowed.  Come ready to work.

Students must make arrangements with their teachers for any assignments missed as a result of AP testing. Please review the testing calendar below for AP exams.
