College Planning Case Study Parent Event
In collaboration with Revolution Prep, the CCC is hosting a presentation for parents of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors on Tuesday, May 12, at 8:15 a.m. to reframe the conversation around testing timelines, list-building strategies, application workloads, and student well-being. The presentation will take place in The Lighthouse.
What Makes This Case Study Different
Unlike traditional case studies focused only on mock admissions, this 1-hour program provides a real-world look at the college process:
- Testing Timelines – Encouraging earlier conversations about SAT/ACT planning and the evolving role of test-optional policies.
- Building a Balanced College List – Identifying schools that align with academic goals, admissions likelihood, and personal fit.
- Admission Outcomes – Understanding decision factors and crafting a strategic, data-informed approach.
