MS Students Compete at District Geography Bee

The top five students in Westminster’s Geography Bee, eighth grade students Vittoria Santana, Luke Glavach, Samantha Foreman, Grace Davis, and Nick Bracke recently competed at The Independent Schools of South Florida (ISSF) Annual Middle School Geography Bee at the Coral Gables Woman’s Club. The team did remarkably well despite not having competed at the district level in quite some time.
“Our team of geography heroes faced powerhouse teams throughout the district who train all year. We did not know what to expect, but these students paved the way for future teams to compete,” said Chad Bogie, MS Modern History/Civics teacher. “Our Westminster team defeated two foes before falling in a close elimination round. The kids had a great and memorable experience."
Congratulations to these students!
