Students Earn Scholastic Awards in Film and Animation
Westminster Film students stole the show at the prestigious 2021 Scholastic Art Awards. Of the 17 film and animation awards earned in Miami-Dade County, eight awards were received by Westminster students. Scholastic is the nation's longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. Congratulations to the following students:

The Seven Quarantined Sins
Students' entries are blindly adjudicated by some of the foremost leaders in the visual and literary arts. Jurors look for works that exemplify the Awards' core values: originality, technical skill, and the emergence of personal voice or vision. There were a total of 3,800 entries in the competition, only 634 of those entries were adjudicated into the Scholastic Regional Art Show. The Gold or Silver Key Award winners' art can be seen in a virtual exhibition showcased on the Rubell Museum's website.
