SWENext Warriors Participate in Female-Focused Engineering Event
Westminster's Society for Women Engineers, SWENext Warriors, participated in this year's "Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day." The event, hosted by the University of Miami, is meant to inspire future female engineers. Anderson Bryan '22, Aria Upton '21, Mia Wells '22 and Mrs. Brianna Upton, the club's sponsor, logged on to the virtual event to partake in activities and discussion related to women in engineering.
Each student was also provided with a special engineering kit that allowed them to engage with other future engineers. The event also included a series of engineering games and, during the final event, Mia Wells '22 took home first place.
