Alumni at MIT Speak to SWENext Students
WCS alumni currently studying at MIT headed a panel for SWENext, a club at Westminster dedicated to introducing women to the world of engineering. The panel took place virtually and featured Sara Fernandez '19, Brejah Upton '18 and graduate student Debbie Yu.
Together they discussed their experiences as women in engineering, useful habits for a successful college student, how to prepare for a career in a male-dominated field and how to balance social life with a rigorous course load. Fernandez and Upton also shared with students how Westminster prepared them for college.
