STEM

We strive to foster an interest in the fundamental disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in all students.
Westminster's middle school curriculum includes a focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to develop our students' ability to collaborate, think creatively, communicate effectively, and work independently to solve problems.

Using a rigorous, project-based education model called Project Lead the Way (PLTW), students engage in activities that incorporate computer science, engineering, and biomedical science. The program, which continues in high school, allows students to develop and exercise in-demand knowledge and skills in STEM that they will need to thrive now and in the future.
