The Hub
The Hub: A Westminster Media Center
Westminster's elementary school media center, the Hub, provides students with access to books, resources, and technology that support learning and personal growth. With over 10,000 publications, the Hub is the heart of the elementary school with a wide variety of books, including fiction and non-fiction, picture books, magazines, ebooks and audio books, for students to expand their imagination and broaden their knowledge of the world. The Hub also provides Microsoft Surface devices to support education in technology and enhance their digital literacy.

Author Academy
Author Academy is where selected third through fifth grade students work on developing their creative writing skills alongside some of our talented high school mentors. They work on generating and developing ideas, support writing through sensory details, and enhance writing with specific word choice and varied sentence structure. -
The Nerd Herd
Students can grow their love for reading by joining the Nerd Herd, Westminster's book club for students in first through fifth grade. Students vote on one book every month and meet over lunch to discuss the selected text. On average, the Nerd Herd reads seven books per year. -
Warrior Lab
The Warrior Lab was created in 2019 to match high school mentors with elementary students. It developed in 2021 to grow specialty programs on the elementary campus. During lab hours, students work together to help strengthen math, reading, science, and organizational skills to build confidence in their academics.
Westminster Christian School, located in Palmetto Bay, Florida, is a private, college-preparatory school for children from preschool through twelfth grade.
